When you sign up to bulletbooks you’ll get a dedicated expert whose entire mission is to take it all off your hands. Keeping everything organised and staying on top of tax deadlines so you don’t have to worry.

We’re also the only company who offers our services to the US, UK, Canada and Australia. This helps bring global insights and support from around the world.

Once signed up you’ll get a dedicated bookkeeping expert to handle the books and support you along the way.

Your bookkeeper will gather all your data from your current software and statements.

They then…

• Reconcile your accounts
• Categorize your transactions
• Produce your financial statements
• Make adjustments to ensure tax-compliance
• Keep an eye out for irregularities
• Provide reports when needed
• Keep you up to date
• Help file your taxes
• Liaise with your current advisors if necessary

Your bookkeeper might need to reach out on things like categorising a transaction. Yet our goal is to keep it all as hands-off for you as possible. So this will only be occasionally.

You can also message or book a call with your bookkeeper whenever you’d like. This is all included in your monthly plan with no hidden fees or charges.

Our onboarding process typically lasts 1-3 days after signup. Yet you won’t be needed for most of this. Since your bookkeeper will do the work once they have all the information they need.

After you’re signed up we’ll get to work and have your bookkeeping done within 11 business days.

During this time we will reconcile the accounts. Make any adjustments. Ensure everything is accurate. And prepare your statements before the end of the month.

No worries! A lot of our new clients have been too busy running their business and that’s why they come to us. Catch-up bookkeeping is included in all plans at no extra charge.

Note that free historical bookkeeping is only included up to a certain amount of months. This will depend on the number of transactions you have. Your expert will talk you through this upon sign up.

When you sign up to bulletbooks we will match the bookkeeping type to what is best suited for your needs.

Most clients use a type of cash basis bookkeeping. This means that we record transactions as soon as the money deposits into your bank account… Or it’s charged from your bank account/credit card.

We can also manage your books via an accrual basis if that’s what your business is more suited to.

We will discuss your needs and goals to help select the right type of bookkeeping for your business.

Cash bookkeeping tracks when money enters or leaves a bank account or credit card. Accrual bookkeeping records when the money was earned or owed.

Most smaller businesses use cash and larger companies use accrual. Your one-on-one expert will help you through this to choose what’s right for you.

Yes! We can file your taxes and have done so for clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Please note that this is an extra service that’s not included in a bookkeeping subscription.

The alternative option is to use a firm of your choice.

Bulletbooks will prepare everything they need and hand them the completed books. This is included in your Bulletbooks subscription at no extra cost.

Your bookkeeping expert will discuss these options with you during sign up.

Yes we can submit your personal taxes for you. Please note that this is an extra service that’s not included in a bookkeeping subscription.
