Do you use cash or accrual based bookkeeping?
When you sign up to bulletbooks we will match the bookkeeping type to what is best suited for your needs.
Most clients use a type of cash basis bookkeeping. This means that we record transactions as soon as the money deposits into your bank account… Or it’s charged from your bank account/credit card.
We can also manage your books via an accrual basis if that’s what your business is more suited to.
We will discuss your needs and goals to help select the right type of bookkeeping for your business.
What’s the difference between accrual and cash bookkeeping?
Cash bookkeeping tracks when money enters or leaves a bank account or credit card. Accrual bookkeeping records when the money was earned or owed.
Most smaller businesses use cash and larger companies use accrual. Your one-on-one expert will help you through this to choose what’s right for you.
Will bulletbooks file my personal taxes?
Yes! We can discuss filing your personal taxes and have done so for clients in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
Are there any one–time fees when I sign up for bulletbooks?
No. There are no hidden fees or charges for using our service. Simply sign up to be billed monthly or annually. If you sign up to the annual plan you’ll receive an upfront payment discount. Most of our clients choose the annual option.
